Today we are thrilled to write about one of our personal favorite spots, and Wilmington’s outdoor paradise: Airlie Gardens.

The 67 acres of land houses manicured gardens, historic structures, thousands of azaleas, 10 acres of lake, and the centuries-old Airlie Oak. Steeped in natural North Carolinian plants and history, it has become a favorite place for weddings, events, concerts, and tours.

Best of all, it’s open daily from 9:00a – 5:00p from March to December. Children under 4 get in free, and New Hanover County residents receive $4 off their ticket price.
