Carolina Beach State Park

The beach is enough of a pull to spend your summer days in Carolina Beach, but today we’re going to talk about another beautiful piece of Pleasure Island: Carolina Beach State Park

Home of the Venus Flytraps, this park offers camping, fishing, boating, hiking…you get the point, there’s a lot to do here. Rangers offer hikes every Saturday and Sunday to view the several varieties of carnivorous plants, and those with boats can use the public marina to hit the waters for fishing and recreational sports

8 trails ranging from 0.25 to 3 miles ramble through the pine and live oak park. The Fitness Trail has exercise and activity stations along the path while also displaying the diverse habitats native to eastern NC. Care for camping? You don’t always have to drive hours away to have the experience. Carolina Beach offers different types of campsites, from the primitive to the full hook-ups. The campground offers bathhouses, cabins, dump stations for your RV, restrooms, drinking water, grills, and picnic tables to give you a great camping experience for you and all your family and friends to enjoy

And of course, if you ever want to take a dip, you always have Carolina Beach right around the corner!
